arrow Answer: Yes. Our caregivers are licensed and insured to drive clients either with their own car or your own car, if you prefer.

How do you charge for services?
arrow Answer: We offer convenient hourly rates with a minimum of 3 hours per visit or sleep over rates for 12 or 24 hour shifts.

How much do your services cost?
arrow Answer: During our on-site free assessment, we’ll work with you to create a customized plan tailored to your needs and within your budget.

What forms of payment do you accept?
arrow Answer: We accept personal checks as well as payment from third party insurers such as in home care, long term care, workers compensation and other insurers who cover in-home care.

Will my same caregiver come each day or shift?

arrow Answer: Yes. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible continuity of services by establishing trusting, long-term relationships between the client and their caregiver.

Can my caregiver prepare meals for me?

arrow Answer: Yes. Our caregivers can do all of the meal planning and preparing if that is what you need. They are even familiar with special diets and restrictions due to medical conditions.find answers to questions about services and care

Can my caregiver do laundry and clean the house?

arrow Answer: Yes. Our caregivers can do laundry and even light housekeeping such as dusting and vacuuming to keep your home clean.

Can my caregiver give me a shower or a bath?

arrow Answer: Yes. They can give showers or baths, depending on your needs and safety situation. Our staff are also trained how to give sponge baths in the bed or in a chair.

Are your caregivers bonded and insured?

arrow Answer: Yes. Our caregivers are our employees, not independent contractors. They are covered by professional liability insurance, theft bonds and workers’ compensation. We conduct careful screening, background checks and written exams before hiring our employees. We also provide on-going education to our caregivers to ensure the highest quality of in-home care.

What happens if I am not comfortable with the caregiver you send out?

arrow Answer: We pledge to work with you to find the best possible match for your needs. We have a staff of over 30 caregivers so if we are not able to make a perfect match the first time, we will be happy to discuss your concerns and find a more suitable match.

Do you require a deposit or does your contract require a specified service period?

arrow Answer: We do NOT require a deposit or require a contract for any length of time. When you choose Home Care Advantage as your in-home care provider, we will have you sign a service agreement agreeing to pay invoices in a timely manner, agreeing to give 24-hour cancellation notices for scheduled shifts and agreeing not to hire our employees privately.

Who do we contact in an emergency or in the middle of the night?

arrow Answer: Our supervisor is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal is to provide the immediate response and attention you need. We can schedule caregivers same day for urgent service needs.
